Before working for TherapySync, Summer worked simultaneously in home health management and in the field as an occupational therapist for several therapy companies. She opened a branch for a large contract therapy provider, where she was first exposed to TherapySync. After leading a software conversion and working in over ten different cumbersome EMRs previously, she was warily skeptical of trying another.
Summer was pleasantly surprised to find that the TherapySync EMR was designed specifically for therapy. It was by far the easiest to learn as well as the most intuitive of any she had worked with. The ease of use cut new hire orientation time down by over half when compared to any other EMR she worked in, making TherapySync a game changer. Her positive experience with the TherapySync SaaS eventually launched her into a career with the company itself.

This is how the two companies connected – a customer asked TherapySync to provide an API for cliniCONNECTS to integrate the products. TherapySync makes many improvements based on client requests, and this proposal was no different. They reached out to cliniCONNECTS to see if they could accommodate this customer.

She shared a story of how cliniCONNECTS would have benefited her when she owned a therapy company:
I went on a cruise, my first vacation in years, and when we docked in San Juan, my phone blew up with texts and messages telling me that they couldn’t reach anyone at my office. After several calls, I came to find out that between an out-of-town new patient evaluation and a separate medical emergency, no one was in my office. Luckily, it had only been a few hours, but it did mean that I missed out on that day of vacation. I had to spend several hours staffing and training a colleague at our corporate office so she would have the knowledge necessary to assign patient referrals correctly since only my office team and I had that knowledge base at the time.
